Max Tarcher has been an educator in the Bay Area for nearly a decade, serving youth as a mental health counselor, educational therapist, substitute teacher, after school teacher, tutor, lacrosse coach, camp counselor, and mentor. Max enjoys being creative and adventurous, learning alongside the youth he serves about the journey of the self, the world we live, and how to become a more whole person from within. He has extensive training in mindfulness curriculum, including many other nature based meta-cognitive practices, as well as working with students with learning differences. Professionally, Max works with every child by broadening the tools they already possess as unique individual. Max likes to bring a light hearted awareness when addressing difficult circumstances that life may bring.
Max got his Bachelors degree at UC Berkeley and is currently completing a Masters in Education to become an Educational Therapist at Holy Names University. He is currently starting an educational therapy practice with a colleague.
