Bill McMillan is a retired MFT with over 25 years working as a psychotherapist, specializing in adolescents, families and trauma and have worked in both middle and high schools in different parts of the country.
I was for many years one of the leaders of a mentoring organization in Ashland, OR called Boys to Men (some similarities to Stepping Stones), and was co-founder of a veterans organization called The Welcome Home Project. From that program came a documentary film, The Welcome, that I co-produced with my wife, Kim Shelton, a long time filmmaker, who directed that film. I am currently a certified Yuan Gong Qigong teacher, and teach classes locally, including an on-going class for cancer patients and caregivers. I was also trained at the School of Lost Borders and for several years co-taught a class at Ashland High School that we called The Senior Passage Class, which intended to help seniors see their final year as a ceremony of passage into the next phase of their lives. |
