Cherie Felzer graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies' Somatic Psychology program, and is a registered Marriage and Family Therapy intern. Cherie currently works with children teaching mindfulness and nature-based social skills with Seeds of Awareness and teaches movement therapy classes with Syzygy Dance Project at Options Recovery Center and SF County jail. Her past clinical work has included working with at-risk teens in a wilderness setting with rites of passage, business and law students, elders in a hospital setting and those living with dementia.

Her love of nature has offered her life experience as an herbalist, permaculturist and entrepreneur. Her passions continue to inspire her work and give her energy to support others, weaving together connection to nature, mindfulness, play, dance/movement, and counseling psychology.
