Dan Lewis is a Berkeley native and Stepping Stones alumnus, participating from 2002-2009. He has a BA from Colorado College in Religion, and is the co-founder of FoodMaven and founding member of Colorado Springs Food Rescue, a for-profit and non-profit with missions of combating food waste and creating food sovereignty, respectively.
He has been trained in Council Levels I & II at the Ojai Foundation, co-led a men’s group and educational backpacking trips at his college, trained as a yoga teacher, participated in a vision fast and has attended a multi-cultural men’s gathering led by Michael Meade for 5 of the last 6 years. He has also worked with youth at the Mosaic Project to teach about diversity, communication and conflict resolution. Dan currently spends his time prep cooking at Three Stone Hearth, fundraising, singing with OIGC, dancing bachata and self-inquiry. He is passionate about masculinity and sexual education, Ireland, social justice work, Somatic Experiencing, vulnerability, film, comics, wilderness and being fully alive. |
