Hannah Rudsten is pursuing a Masters in Arts in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Drama Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Ever since she was in high school she knew she wanted to help others, especially teen girls. She has always loved theater as an adolescent and when she realized she could combine her passion of helping people with drama from an improv teacher of hers, she felt she had found her true calling.
While studying Family and Human Services at the University of Oregon, Hannah was a mentor for a 12 year old girl, co-facilitated a co-ed youth group, as well as a girls group in New Zealand for a semester abroad. After she graduated college and lived in Argentina for a couple of years to improve her Spanish, she worked for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Bay Area as a case manager for 4 years.
She is honored to be apart of the Stepping Stones Project and feels eager to bring her happy go lucky self, her passion for helping girls feel empowered and supported, and her drama therapy skills to the SSP community!
