John McNally grew up in Long Island, N.Y. and now enjoys being mostly retired. He has a Master of Divinity degree and his last full-time position was as a lay hospice chaplain. He found this quite fulfilling and still makes himself available to serve in this manner as an independent. Early on, he did carpentry for some years as he likes wood and working with his hands. Following this, he was a practitioner of Trager Psychophysical Integration which combines healing energy work with physical bodywork.

A lover of travel, he has been fortunate to see much of the U.S. and elsewhere, including Bali, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica and European countries from Denmark to Turkey. Other things he likes doing include hiking, dancing, reading, meditating, drumming, singing and sailing. These days, he particularly appreciates being able to be of service to our young people. He and his wife, Sheri, live in Richmond, CA.
