Hey there, I’m Lani Yadegar. I love teens and I love nature. Mucho. I grew up as a teen in a pretty special little nook of Mill Valley on the way up Mt. Tamalpais.  My relationship with that mountain has been one of the more significant ones in my life.

I’m pregnant at the moment, so excited for this baby to come into the world, and feeling deeply inspired around bringing more mentorship and rite of passage work with youth into our culture that feels so hungry for it.  It feels profoundly important for the health of our children, our families, our communities, and this planet.

For work, I have a relationship, dating, and social coaching business called Social Studio, which I started over six years ago, where I help people to create and design relationships in their lives that fit their unique way of being.  My own relationships (with family, friends, co-workers, nature, and my marriage) have always been my most powerful teachers and deepest spiritual path, and I feel grateful to have been steeped in learning around this for so many years and excited to bring my learning to these girls and also learn from them!

As for professional cred…

I got my CPCC (certified professional Co-Active coach) certification from The Coaches Training Institute.

I am a graduate of the Hakomi Institute of California’s two year Comprehensive Training in mindfulness based somatic psychotherapy.

I am an ongoing student of Jon Eisman and the Re-Creation of the Self Somatic Psychotherapy model.

For the last two years I have been studying Matrix Leadership Institute’s body of work on group systems and group facilitation and take every training that they offer:)

I have facilitated, led, and taught groups on social skills, emotional intelligence, sexuality, relationships, and connection since high school.

I feel lucky to call a beautiful and wild piece of land in West Marin home, where I live with my two soul friends, my husband and my dog, and a handful of friends in an intentional community. I enjoy romping around in the wilderness, painting with bright colors on large canvasses, talking about how to build and design community, drinking lots of tea, and skiing as much as I possibly can.
