Lauren Brown, MFT is a musician, mindfulness educator, California Institute of Integral Studies graduate & somatic therapist with a love for climbing big trees.  In her private practice as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she sees youth both individually and in groups.

Lauren is passionate and wildly committed to empowering youth in finding their voice & creativity.  Emphasizing skills they were born with and teaching new ones, Lauren helps youth walk courageously across the golden bridge of adolescence through ritual, music,  & most importantly play.

Lauren is also a practitioner of dance, yoga and meditation and has taught these skills to youth in schools in San Francisco and Sonoma County.  Before moving to California for graduate school, she taught yoga to teens in Thailand for three years while singing in a funk band.

Originally from Texas, Lauren now lives on a goat farm in Petaluma where she enjoys planting seeds to watch them grow, playing guitar, hiking the hills, dancing in the moonlight, cooking delicious treats, and climbing big trees.  She has been blessed with the good graces of mentorship and guidance along the way and is excited to pass the torch of wisdom along to the generation to come.
