Naomi Kimmelman has a passion for art, psychology, spirituality and nature. She is interested in the deep exploration of Self and its many aspects including how we relate and interact with each other, to the natural world and to spirit. She is a Master's student at John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley and is working towards becoming an MFT in the Holistic Counseling Program with an emphasis in Depth Psychotherapy. She holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Art from Sonoma State University. She is an accomplished artist and a graduate of the ArtQuest program. Recently, she has been engaging mostly in oil painting and creative writing. She has worked as an after school enrichment art teacher for 1st through 8th graders at the Santa Rosa Charter School for the Arts. She loves sharing art, story, and imagination and is always interested in how play and creativity can lead to an incredible understanding and exploration of our inner most desires.
Naomi also works as a Park Ranger Assistant for the Sonoma County Regional Parks. She attends to eighteen incredible properties along the Russian River area. She is a First Responder, an avid hiker and has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro twice. Her passion for travel and other cultures has led her to Africa, Europe and Israel. Her other interests include yoga, cooking delicious meals for friends and family, and all sorts of dance from African, Samba and Belly dancing to Fusion and Ecstatic Free Style.
