Scott Hamilton came into the Stepping Stones with the parent group of his son, Nate, who had his marking ceremony in November of 2016. From 2007 to 2016 he coached more than twenty soccer and baseball teams where he taught values, leadership, and how to recover from failure.
Scott is trained professionally as an applied statistician in the field of medical research within many therapeutic areas. He is currently involved in studies at UCLA, Stanford, and the NIH. He holds an associate professorship at the Stanford School of Medicine. In 1999, Scott co-founded a software company for the application of statistical techniques in research studies. He sold the company in 2005 and now works there half time in addition to his academic interests.
During his youth, Scott participated in a coming of age program as well as achieving the rank Eagle in the Boy Scouts. He has a deep passion for participating in the development of boys into strong young men.
Scott is married to Sharon and father to Owen and Nate.
