mentoring     -    rites of passage     -     nature     -     community
...because we all need a little help growing up.

Stepping Stones helps middle-school youth transition into adolescence through long-term mentoring, authentic connection, nature, coming of age, and rites of passage. Our boys and girls groups start in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade and provide a healthy environment and support during a period of intense growth and transformation.

A few things you and your child will find in Stepping Stones:
  • Long-term mentoring from experienced leaders and elders.
  • A contemporary coming of age program that builds on cultures ranging from the Mayans to modern Judaism.
  • A place where kids have the space to authentically connect with peers and discover themselves.
  • A parent group to connect and support parents in their own journey.
  • A Village community with a richness in experience and relationship-building.
Stepping Stones Leaders describe our Coming of Age ceremony.
